No action on Raikkonen/Sutil incidentRaikkonen frustrated by problems – Kimi speaking to BBC: "I don’t know exactly [what the problem was], but it was some issue with the engine. I had a loss of power and then I had to stop because the engine would have broken down anyway. It’s a shame. I don’t think it was anybody’s fault," he added. "It was just a
normal racing incident. Unfortunately we touched, but I don’t know what
I can do, because I was on the outside and cannot see everything in
this situation."Ferrari Team Quotes – Kimi Raikkonen – DNF: "Germany definitely doesn’t seem to bring me luck. I don’t know how
many times a problem beyond my control has forced me to retire and this
time it was down to debris. A shame, as I think I could have got a good
result. The car was a bit difficult to drive at the start, but I think
it was the same for everyone. Around lap 14, we began to see that
something wasn’t right and we tried to manage the situation. Then I
started to lose a lot of power and the team asked me to pit because
there was nothing that could be done anymore. The incident with Sutil?
These things happen in racing, we spoke to one another and I think that
he also sees it that way, as indeed did the Stewards."Chris Dyer: "This podium from Felipe is a really
great reward for the whole team, who did a great job this weekend and
in preparing for this race. However, we are also very disappointed
about what happened to Kimi, who could have brought home some important
points. This result is a great motivation for the rest of the season.
We must continue to work with the same intensity to get back to where
we want to be. The choice to stick with the softer tyre for the second
stint of the race was based on what we had seen in the first stint,
where it’s true that Felipe had suffered a bit, while Kimi had no
problems. We were also concerned about how the harder compound would
work in these temperatures."

Another german feast for Kimi… it’s sad! The curse will never end for Kimi and that frustrating circuit…I’m really angry now.

We must get a slightly different BBC broadcast and side commentary over here. Luckily we do not have to put up with what you described to be disgusting comments of Kimi. I can only imagine the press gushing over Massa now. Once again, who was hanging around pit lane ?! Massa HAD to perform with Schumacher there. Unfortunately Kimi’s run of bad luck in Germany continues…. Australia will be celebrating Mark Webber’s maiden pole & win! I’m surprised the organisers managed to dig up Advance Australia Fair from somewhere. Bet they had to blow a lot of dust off it !! Well done Red Bull.

I’m so disappointed but not just because of Kimi’s misfortune. It’s only one thing. But the new rumours here in Hungary (or maybe not just here) is: 2010: Ferrari+Alonso, Brawn GP+Kimi. They say Barrichello will retire at the end of this season..and.. because Kimi has a contract with Ferrari, Ferrari will pay to him and not Brawn. Wtf?! I don’t even know what is good in making this things. If Kimi retire, he would say it in time. But these rumours with alonso and ferrari.. in every year.. why Kimi? Just because his hobby is rallying? why not felipe? he will be a father, so why not..? I hate when everyone say only Kimi’s name at every bad thing! These rumours good for only one thing: can’t enjoy F1 anymore like before!!~Keep flying Kimi!

I’m disappointed no doubt, I believe Kimi won’t feel good as well. I don’t trust the rumours unless it is comes from Kimi’s mouth or Ferrari confirm it. The media always like to make interesting story to attract readers not please don’t bother too much. Just hope for the best for Kimi in the coming races.

@ No name: agreed with you, why must it always be Kimi and not Felipe. They both have contracts that expires at end of 2010. This FA & Ferrari rumour is really upsetting and I know that I am not gonna enjoy F1 like before.Poor Kimi…not only with the German race bad luck, but as mentioned by Trixie, who was hanging at the pit lane???? Kimi tend to have bad lucks with him around! We are all as dissappointed as Kimi, but he’ll get over it pretty fast and start thinking about the next race. Keep flying Kimi and we will always believe in you. KIMI FOREVER!
