Testing: Jerez, Day 3

From Autosport.com

Sebastien Buemi maintained his domination of this week’s test at
Jerez in Spain with the fastest time on Thursday, just edging out his
Scuderia Toro Rosso teammate Takuma Sato.

Both drivers set their fastest times late morning, when the track
conditions are traditionally at their best, as they aim to impresses
their bosses enough to secure race drives for 2009.

McLaren’s Heikki Kovalainen continued his testing work for McLaren,
taking over the MP4-23A to focus on aerodynamic and set-up evaluation
work for McLaren, to set the third quickest time.

Teammate Pedro de la Rosa was in the KERS car today, but only completed 47 laps.

Kimi Raikkonen was the fastest Ferrari driver as he set the fourth best time, just ahead of returning teammate Felipe Massa. Both Raikkonen and Massa were continuing to work on finding the best set-up for the F2008,
fitted with slick tyres and new development components aimed at next
season. Kimi also carried on with the endurance test of the 056 engine.

The final test session of 2008 for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro will
take place at the new Portimao circuit, in the Algarve (Portugal) from
15 to 17 December. The driver line-up for this test has yet to be
finalised.

Renault’s Fernando Alonso was sixth quickest as he continued acclimatising to the 2009 slick Bridgestone tyres.

"It was a good day as we continued to add miles to the car and to
understand the tyres," said Alonso. "We maximised the time on the track
and managed to do a lot of laps as well as some basic-set-up work.

"I have already been doing a lot of physical work to get ready for
next year and so spending a couple of days in the car this week was
another important part of my preparation and has helped me get back up
to speed. I’m now looking forward to testing the new car in January."

Seventh fastest Nico Rosberg was Williams’ sole representative,
while BMW Sauber duo Robert Kubica and Christian Klien ended the day at
the bottom of the timesheets as they focused on 2009 aerodynamic and
KERS work.

Still, nothing to draw from it yet. Now, it’s time for Kimi & Co to tidy up as the FIA Gala is tomorrow evening, in glamourous Monaco. Speaking of glamourous, pity Kimi’s been hiding his long, curly hair the whole time under a hat. He better use a decent shampoo if he plans on not cutting that lush hair of his! Haha!

Bless him – we will see after the gala if he has had his lovely hair cut -lol -but I am sure of one thing he will be the best looking one !!!!But the reason I admire him so much is because he is so fast and has always been. The fact he is so hot is the most amazing bonus. lets wait and see what happens next year when I am optimistic the ICEMAN age will rule again xxxxKimi fly as alwaysxxxx

I guess its all the girl power that scares us away? Kidding 😀 The Kimi Raikkonen Fan Club on Facebook had a rush of female fans this year and the most active members are girls. But Im not complaining 😉 Maybe it proves that women are more faithful in hard times? I dunno. lolBut seriously, I like to lurk anonymously in here 🙂 And I love Kimi, but I only drool about his driving 😉 I dont know how great the FIA gala is gonna be. I fear it will be Hamilton up and down, left and right and who wants to watch that?? Lol Im just anxious to see if Kimi will be testing next week too. I have a feeling that he will.

Haha…women more faithful in hard times, you got that right!I think Kimi will test next week too, because he couldn’t get much done because of the wet weather this week. So if he can, he’ll take the chance. The FIA Gala will stink, but obviously we’re interested in seeing how much it will stink so we can rant about it, and also we girls just want to see Kimi LOL
