From since when I was only just growing up, in my teens, I came across you and have appreciated your talent ever since. It has only been nine years. happy 30th birthday kimi.i started watching f1 in1999 and supported kimi but when you joined in 2001 i started supporting you i was only 9 years old.i loved the way you drive you were so aggressive and you would never complain when things went wrong unlike a certain spanish driver.obiviously brazil 2007 was the best day of my life and i did cry because i thought it was never going to happen.best wishes for the future in f1 or not from your number 1 fan in ireland james

Saima…. Reading those words about how Kimi has changed you and how he has been a great part of your life, and how much it means to you to be right there for him through thick and thin was like reading my own thoughts… Sure I have been Kimi’s fan for a little over four years, but still, I feel just the way you feel: that he is a great part of my life. Kimi came into my life when I was 15 years old, still very impressionable, very emotional and sensitive and irascible as a teenager, coming out of my parents’ divorce… And I had needed a hero for so long a time. I had actually sort of lost my faith when Kimi came along and turned me into this person with frozen determination, icy patience and cold, cold, cold strength – though I am actually still very sensitive and all. Given my blonde hair, blue-green eyes and pale complexion, it was extremely easy to identify with Kimi from the very beginning and every winter I cherish, for I feel I am closer to Kimi… He is a most significant part of my life, and I will never, ever stop supporting him. I will follow him down whatever road he chooses, never forget him, and always hold him in my heart. I am proud to call myself a Raikko too, and also see more people who feel the same way about him………. We love you Kimi!!
