Barrichello says title fight will be clean
Ecclestone backs Todt’s campaign
Ferrari: Tyres are the main player

Ferrari Team QuotesKimi Raikkonen: “It was a Friday like any other. We
had a number of little problems with the car, but overall, we were able
to get through the programme we had set ourselves. As for the times,
there is always a question mark over the various fuel loads: we will
see tomorrow what we can do in qualifying. Today is too soon to say if
we can be in a position to fight for a podium finish as we have done in
recent races. The softer tyres degrade more quickly, at least from what
we could see today. It’s hardly surprising and usually, bit by bit, as
the track rubbers in, the situation improves.”

Chris Dyer: “Today’s performance was definitely
nothing to get excited about. The interruption to the session
complicated the running of our planned programme, but overall we have
gathered sufficient data to be as well prepared as possible for
qualifying and the race. Tomorrow, our aim is to get both cars through
to Q3: it won’t be easy, but we will do our best. Both types of tyre
showed some signs of degradation today, which makes the choice for the
race even harder. From what we have seen, I also expect to see
different tyre strategies employed in qualifying.”

Hi to Saima and all!!!!I think that Turn 17 should be officially renamed Turn Renault or Renault Turn coz it looks like each of their drivers crashes there….ok it wasn’t an intentional one from Grosjean still i found it really funny that it happened…who knows maybe Alonso will crash in tomorrow’s quali or in sunday’s race lolllllllI was so frustrated that there was barely any coverager of Kimi i couldn’t see his laps or pace…so annoying but i guess P9 isn’t bad, afterall it’s only the 1st practice session and Kimi and Ferrari always improve in the next ones, specially in quali. which is the most important.I watched the MTV3 interview with Kimi and his manager it’s a very intresting one plus just read the f1-live article on Iceman which mentions that interview but also Montezemolo’s comments and him hardly ever mentioning Kimi’s name lately which i’ve realised a long time ago…i guess the announcement will be out very soon and then we’ll know where he’ll be driving next year but my feeling tells me it won’t be Ferrari, probably Macca. All i hope 4 is that he’ll be very happy and comfortable in his 2010 team and that he gets a competitive car that allows him to fight 4 the championship and win it, then again anything will be better than the F60 junk.

Guys, I was down at the track yesterday for FP1 and 2, so here are my photos, if you’d like to see them. I got several of Kimi, but they aren’t as good as they should have been, cos our Iceman froze my fingers over as he zipped past. 🙂 If I was closer to the fence I could’ve vanished it completely, but blame those dastardly safety barriers! http://www.flickr.com/photos/whippeltree/sets/72157622446521458/

@Kiki – Singapore is Hamilton-land. It’s our colonial hangover. 🙂 Everything is all about him. I hope Kimi finds a great team for next year – the McLaren is looking good and Brawn is an option too. Looking at how the team is treating him (at least in public), I would be happy to see him out of Ferrari and in a competitive car next year. I started off as a Ferrari fan, but I’m beginning to realise that where my loyalties really lie. Keep flying Kimi, and good luck for quali today! 🙂

Hey everyone, I love KIMI, the Genius of the Piloting and I’m not satisfies against Ferrari… I’m looking at to the TV the essays of qualifications and the new ones that they give Ferrari as what Ferrari wishes to change Pilot the next year… You know, Ferrari would do better to work on their car, to correct the defects… For tomorrow, good Luck to KIMI, that he takes advantage of his race, that he masters the Grand Prix of his better, despite a not reliable car…Keep Flying KIMI and Great WeekEnd to all…

I’m with you, ribbonseal.I was for Ferrari when Michael was there and was even happier when Kimi moved, but the way they’ve been acting, I don’t know if I can continue to support them. What pains me is to see Kimi trying so desperately to hang on to his contract. I’m hoping this is all just for show, though. I still think that Kimi probably already knows where he’s headed. Good Luck to Kimi later!

Hi to all,Me, I support the great pilots, and automatically the builder of the moment… Because whatever the race cars… This is the pilot that does the difference… And for Ferrari, despite their racing car, that isn’t at the point, Kimi exploited his racing car to the maximum of its performances… But this is a practice running in Formula 1 to change Pilot… Be for a media strategy;Be because the builders are too sure of their racing car and not sufficiently confiding in their Pilot… If this is the second case, This would be well unfortunate for Ferrari… While awaiting, That Kimi takes pleasure of his race… What he continues to use his strategy of Genius of the Piloting… I love the Piloting techniques of Kimi… This is all that we will be never able to realize… What he offer us the visual pleasure of the Piloting and Good Luck KIMI for this afternoon!!!… Keep Flying KIMI !!!…………………………………..Have a Great and Wonderful Sunday everyone, Bye-Bye and see you later!!!…
