F1 GP Highlights: Italy 2009

https://i0.wp.com/img27.imageshack.us/img27/5543/evenstarsays.png So we continued the momentum from Spa at Monza, where Kimi made it onto the podium for the fourth time in a row. And Kimi’s story at Ferrari takes a turn towards the end of 2009 – can he fight till the end of the season and maintain the team’s third place of the championship? Moreover, can he claim third place for himself in the driver’s title? Let’s see how he has been pushing and defending it, most recently at the Italian Grand Prix. The theme continues from Spa. Enjoy the video! (I did with my headphones, the first music track rocks!)
Keep flying,

Darling what an amazing job. I simply love it. It is such an enjoyable video i have watch it again and again!Thank you so much for your hard work. I always like your music choice for your highlight videos and i like again these both songs what you have chosen.I hope you will have the opportunity to continue to making great highlights, because of the reason that Kimi will be for the last 4 races again on podium.I can’t describe how i like this video, it is the same like spa highlight video. It is more enjoyable, when Kimi achieved podiums or victories. So Darling there is nothing more to say. You are so amazing. Your video’s are so amazing! You did a wonderful and on the same time an amazing job.Thank you so so much!!!! That you gave us a great memory for the future!

  10. Thx a lot Saima, really loved it….u always do a great job, Kimi’s very lucky 2 have such a passionate and devoted fan like u.Speaking of Kimi i read this very beautiful and touching article about him, some of u guys might have seen it but 4 those who haven’t here it is:Heikki Kulta about Kimi and Heikki"Fact is that Kimi has a contract for the next season and Heikki hasn’t. The boys are not standing on the same line but on the other hand Ferrari made a 5-year deal with Santander who has very close links to Alonso so I believe that they are doing as much work as possible behind the scenes so that Santander will get the driver they want into Ferrari. I believe that Alonso has a signed contract with Ferrari for 2011 but I don’t know if he has a signed contract for 2010. It might happen which would leave them with one extra driver but knowing Ferrari’s appreciation for Kimi I don’t think it’s Kimi who leaves Ferrari. Massa could be on a sickleave for some time but then there’s still the upcoming FIA hearing with Renault and who knows which people get stained. If Alonso won the race through a dirty game then the driver gets quite a lot of stain too. In those proportions even one stain is never good for a driver. That could also change things in these final games. "Q: How well do you know Kimi and Heikki?I know them very well, their families too and we have always had good relations which on the paddock is vital. If the relations are bad and everybody would be running away from you then you could as well follow it on television and make your articles based on that but since we have good relations it’s a pleasure to be there and share both joys and sorrows. It’s always difficult to share the sorrows because motorsport is so cruel. ‘It’s motorsport’ as the boys say when things are bad. Heikki is very open and gets along with everyone, Heikki is what you see. Everybody likes him and it’s really easy to get along with him. He is a joking and a fun guy.Kimi is in principle a restrained version of Heikki but when you get to know him better, not from the official events, you have lots of fun with him, he has an extremely good sense of humour and he is a clever guy. During these 9 years a certain role has developed around him and he plays the role precisely: He is cool, answers unemotionally saying ‘I don’t know, let’s see, I’ll do my best, let’s see how far it takes’ – these typical answers. But then occasionally when everything falls in place, like in Monza, it was surprising to see how the feeling comes out even on the podium, you saw that the man was as happy as a man can be, that’s Kimi’s real nature. His inner being is his strenght since no matter what result he gets he doesn’t change like a rollercoaster. Kimi can control himself. Of course a bad result hurts but Kimi is the only sportsman I know who can get really fast over disappointment. It takes about 15-30 minutes, after that the thoughts are completely in what is ahead.Kimi has a good philosophy ‘Why worry about it when it doesn’t change the result’ – that’s a philosophy that would suit any sportsman.Keep Flying Kimi!!!!!!!!!

  11. As always thanks for the video Saima. In other news, the latest is that Kimi has signed a pre-contract with Macca. Not sure what to make of this, but hopefully there will be some clarity soon…

  13. By the way, it’s Kimi’s birthday soon (October 17th)!

  14. Yeah 🙂 I’ll believe it when I see it. Kimi v Lewis in the same car would be an intriguing prospect – the way Lewis goes a bit bezerk when Kimi is behind or around him gives me the impression that Kimi unsettles him. How shall we celebrate Kimi’s birthday? I have no vodka at home, only some rather tame wines… 🙂

  15. Kimi & Lewis on same car?just like Kimi & Montoya, hope Macca will have equal treatment

  17. Read this: "Lewis Hamilton faces the scrap of his life next season if McLaren pull off plans to sign Ferrari ace Kimi Raikkonen.***********************************************************************************************************************************************Paddock sources say the Finn, 29, has signed an outline agreement to return to the car he won the world title with in 2007.************************************************************************************************************************************************But first he has to settle a dispute with his current employers. He is refusing to step down unless he is paid all of his 2010 £30m salary. The deal could explain McLaren’s increasingly tense relationship with engine supplier Mercedes, who wanted German Nico Rosberg in the car."LoL now they want Kimi to drive F2007 next year in Macca. :))Just incredible scenes happening in F1 these days. The media people are getting crazy. 😀

  18. Yeah, Kimi’s Birthday is the day after mine!! :DBut this video was excellent Saima! It was really touching- especially when Kimi was on the podium and the crowd were chanting: KIMI KIMI KIMI!! i had a smile on my face! I some ways, i hope Kimi does go to McLaren- Ferrari don’t appreciate how good Kimi is! That’s just my point of view anywayzz :)KEEP FLYING KIMI !! AND SAIMA!!

  19. I just want Kimi to go wherever he will be happiest. If that is back to McLaren, so be it. I just hope that they will be more lenient with him and allow him to do what he enjoys like rallying. Also, they better treat him equally to Lewis who is their baby! Remember what happened between Alonso and Lewis, and Alonso was already a double world champion. But I’m still waiting for the official announcement. I don’t want Ferrari to fire him. As I said before, he doesn’t deserve it!!!

  20. Lol, that stupid Mirror article wrote a mistake: "Paddock sources say the Finn, 29, has signed an outline agreement to return to the car he won the world title with in 2007." – er, no, Kimi won in the non-cheating car, the Ferrari, you noobs!Anyways, my sentiments are exactly as kracer – I’m happy wherever Kimi is happy. I admit it was always a secret wish of mine for Kimi to go back to McLaren and win that title he should have in 2003 and 2005. (I was very upset when he left them, I supported them both together as a mighty team and a terrible force lol).

  21. Hello everyone! My friend just interviewed me as part of the Singapore GP newspaper coverage – she asked whether I’d still be a Kimi fan if he left Ferrari. I said I’d support Kimi wherever he goes, even to Mclaren, and no matter where he is on track, even if he comes in dead last! Hopefully that bit gets published!! I did say though that I’d still support Ferrari as a team (can’t bring myself to join the Macca camp! LOL!). Anyway, in local news: Apparently the Ferrari team have arrived already, but not the drivers. The drivers will be at the new shopping centre ION Orchard on Thursday afternoon, for a publicity session. And unfortunately Kimi isn’t the guest of honour for this year’s Tag Heuer event – its Lewis who gets to open their new shop this year. 😦 I will be attending a seminar on Thursday at Raffles Hotel, where Kimi stayed last year – so, if he’s staying there again and if there are any Kimi sightings, I’ll give everyone a shout. 🙂 Meanwhile, re Kimi’s future, I guess we should all keep cool like the Iceman, and see what happens. 🙂

  22. Another brilliant manifest about Kimis career from Saima 🙂 You need to teach me that cool negative like effect you have on there some day :)By the way – why so somber music in the second part? Almost sounded like it was Kimis last race in F1. *cry* But it had a nice melancholic edge to it that I really liked. But no more MJ music? ;)Abt Kimi and McLaren. If he goes back there Im sure Robertson will have managed to add a small clause in the contract that would allow Kimi to do rallies!

  24. Hi to everyone!!!!………..Saima it’s not only a secret wish of yours that Kimi goes back to Macca i think most Raikkos agree on that. And regarding stupid Mirror well it’s not the first time they write sh*** i mean didn’t they say a little while ago that Kimi is willing to take a huge pay-cut to drive 4 Brawn…? lolllllll (they made him look so desperate to find a good drive…. bloody idiots :P)Can’t wait 4 this weekend…Keep Flying Kimi 😀

  26. Thanks everyone 🙂 The race part of the video may have come across as a bit ‘sad’ but I didn’t intend it to be! The Gladiator soundtrack music wasn’t meant to reflect the actual movie’s story, rather I was just portraying the honourable fighter in Kimi because he is fighting and defending damn well if you ask me 🙂 Valerie seems to understand the plot, hehe. Plus, I’m running out of music tracks for these videos, so forgive me! haha!@Soren: Yeah, I’m sure McLaren realise by now how Kimi likes to live his life. And ‘control freak’ Dennis isn’t there anymore 😛 I’m just wondering how they’ll find a balance between Hamilton and Kimi as teammates. Grrrr.

  30. Oooohhh, and there’s another one – The Race by Ferry Corsten if you can find it (or maybe you’ve used all these songs already?)

  31. Hahaha, I have The Race by Ferry Corsten 😛 But yes, Bomfunk MCs – how could I forget them!? thanks for the reminder man…

    Like

  32. Thanks, Saima. My personal choices for the Bomfunk MC’s would be: 1) Turn It Up- it’s Kimi all the way through (he turns up the heat on track…and off! Haha) – check out the lyrics -and 2) Something Going On – it won’t be long before Kimi is WDC again! I can feel it!3) We R Atomic if you like a slightly slower track. All the lyrics fit Kimi perfcetly!…but all the tracks are good…
