Ferrari Team QuotesKimi Raikkonen: “Honestly, this was one of the best
qualifying sessions of the season, even if we are not as quick as those
on the front row. Our final result will depend basically on how the
start goes. It will be very important to make up a few places, because
if we end up behind a slower car, then the race is compromised. I think
we are reasonably competitive in race trim, as could be seen in Q3,
while we are struggling a bit on light tanks. So far, it’s been a good
weekend and I am happy with the performance of the F60.”

Chris Dyer: “Qualifying had two sides to it for us. It
was a very difficult day for Luca, who continued the process of
learning about the car and the track. Lap after lap his confidence
increased, but it was not enough to get him off the last place on the
grid. The situation was definitely not helped by the red flag in FP3
which cost him valuable time. On the other hand, Kimi performed well,
especially in Q3, where he did a great lap. Starting from sixth on the
grid is a solid base from which to have a good race tomorrow.”

Quite a good quali 4 Kimi but the Mclaren and Brawn seems a lot quicker than the others and it will be very difficult 4 Kimi to achieve a podium 2morow. Hopefully, there will be special circumstances in favour of Kimi. Am asking only 4 podium, so plzzzzz. lol. gud luck 4 Luca too, his situation must be quite difficult….

Do not underestimate the speed of the Raikkonen! lol he has a very good chance for the podium, I think! hopefully you’ll get what you wish for Rudhi :)The KERS is a major benefit to Kimi, plus he’s shown consistence pace throughout the weekend so far. The start will be crucial of course, so it would’ve been better if Kimi started 5th rather than 6th, as 6th is on the dirty side.

Yah, agree P5 would’ve been better than P6, but I’m confident Kimi will put his KERS button to good use. I’m hopeful he’ll be able to pass Button & Vettel at the start on the outside! Besides, it’s quite rare for Kimi to declare that a podium finish is possible if he doesn’t rate his chances….GO KIMI !

Button is infront of Kimi by the way, I bet Kimi will fly right past him for sure lol I’m so excited, I want to see Kimi VS Hamilton again!

Wouldn’t it be absolutely satisfying if Kimi can single-handedly achieve Ferrari’s target of coming 3rd in the Constructor’s Championship in the remaining season!

a lil disadvantage for kimi to start 6th, but still a really good effort from Kimi considering his car is not as fast as the mercedes or brawns…really hoping for a podium finish too, he deserves it!!!!GOOD LUCK KIMI!!=D

Hi Saima! It won’t be easy for Kimi because of the dirty side, but i’m sure he will have excellent start like in Hungary. The car is still to slow, and our boy is doing excellent job.:))))) And Badoer’s preformance is pretty shocking, he’s so sloooooooow. GOOD LUCK KIMI!!!!!!!!!!!

Very solid performance by Kimi. Isn’t he going to start 5th though? I thought poor Seb has a 10 place grid penalty. So he would be on the clean side of the track, and hopefully will be up to 3rd after the first corner! 🙂

Well done Kimi! I’m surprised when seeing him did another flying lap in a very last second & yes he improved his possition by 3 places 🙂 Isn’t P7 is better than P6?? Anyway dont bother too much on ‘dirty side’ coz should be better than P9 haha… Hope the KERS will help Kimi to breakthrough all the barrier to start from the ‘dirty side’ tommorrow.

Kimi did reasonably well he was really good, too bad that damn F60 isn’t much faster and you still find some idiots who say he’s not doing his best…Kimi is not the problem it’s that stupid car :Pit would have been better if he was starting on the cleaner side coz he tends to loose positions when he isn’t like in Monaco and Turkey but i will try and keep the negativity away so good luck for him, i trust he will do well and won’t deceive usKeep Flying Kimi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kimi really made a fantastic quali if we take into account his car weight. If he passes 2 cars at the start, then a podium will become a realistic goal. Hopefully the KERS will enable him to overcome the ‘dirty side’ problem.

Great qualifying by Kimi though he only managed P6. Good luck 4 today and I really hope the KERS helps him to pass the 3 non-KERS cars ahead of him….Keep Flying Kimi!!!
