Domenicali: 2008 title fight cost us

Ferrari Team Quotes Kimi Raikkonen – 9th: "Honestly, the main problem
is that, at the moment, we are not quick enough to fight for the top
places. The car is not lacking in any particular area, but we do not
have enough grip to be as quick as those who finished ahead of us
today. Tomorrow’s race will be very tough. We will try to make the most
of the start.

"In Australia, it was very good but there was nowhere to go, whereas
here, the straight is long and the track is wide. Furthermore, as we
saw yesterday, our pace is competitive. We have to improve our
performance but obviously, it is important to have the regulations
clarified as quickly as possible, to understand in which direction to
go. Both types of tyres work well over a distance and we will try and
exploit that."

https://i0.wp.com/img27.imageshack.us/img27/5543/evenstarsays.png Congratulations to Button, but Trulli made it hard for him! Vettel did another amazing job today – such a shame that it’s taken away with his grid penalty for his accident in Australia. No surprise at all that Brawn and Toyota are as quick as they were in Australia though. I do not understand BMW however! Well, it’s not a very nice qualifying day for Ferrari – Massa down in 16th apparently due to over-confidence. A very bad call there. It was not much better for Kimi either but I really feel it was the best he could do as the Ferrari is just not able to match those front runners yet, added with the probability that Kimi is carrying a bit more fuel than the others. Kimi had some moments throughout qualifying, braking hard and going off track, little twitches here and there, obviously to do with getting the maximum out of the soft tyres in the extremely humid Malaysian circuit. So the race should be better than Australia was. Kimi starts 7th on the grid, not 9th as Vettel and Barrichello penalty drop. That means Kimi will be on the clean and most grippiest side of the grid and Kimi’s KERS should have a good advantage over the others. Looking forward to the race – Malaysia holds a very special place in my heart as a Kimi fan. Keep flying Kimi ~

Note As previously mentioned many times, Windows Live Spaces is having some problems and Skydrive is also affected. I am aware the photos and videos are not viewable. It is extremely frustrating I know and I am very sorry but there’s nothing I can do. Sometimes it will start working itself, so keep checking for the videos and photos!

Saima just a li’l correction. Kimi is actually p7 as barrichello gets a 5-place grid penalty for changing his gearbox yesterday. So Kimi moves up two places. Starts from the cleaner side. 🙂

Haha, thanks Uzair for clearing that up! I counted Barrichello’s place wrong. P7 is much better than P9 then! I’m excited about the start. Look who’s in front of Kimi again – Kubica. These two racers are awesome lol

Ya, Kimi shld be P7. Not a very impressive Qlfyg for Ferrari esp after what happen to FM. True Saima an over-confident plan!Nonetheless, Kimi is starting from a better position compared to FM. He did his best for the team today and really hoping a better race day tomorrow; Sepang is indeed a special track as Kimi has won twice there.
