Kimi and Jenni tell us about their Christmas this year. Kimi has been in Finland
for many days, but Jenni had just arrived from their home in Switzerland.
They will spend Christmas in their Porkkala home with their familes.

‘At Christmas you must not be in hurry, and I’m going to spend many
hours feasting at the table”, Kimi says. According to Ilta-Sanomat the
couple will celebrate the New Year with friends somewhere outside
Finland.

The parents of both Kimi and Jenni have been invited to Porkkala for their Christmas dinner. The
food will be traditional Finnish Christmas food. And they tell what’s
Kimi’s favourite festive food which is a tasty carrots dish. The Finn already has a big appetite and it will no doubt be bigger this year after winning his first world F1 title.
The one to bring the Christmas tree is
Kimi’s father Matti: it has been an family tradition since Kimi and
Rami’s were kids to let Matti get the tree at Christmas eve. ”This will
be peaceful and with family only," they say.
