First of all, i must thank Allah for letting us get to Silverstone safely, there and back again.
Okay, so the night before, we were really hyped up, didnt get much sleep as we had to wake up at 5.45am. But that was fine because the brazillian neighbours kept us wide awake anyway! Them and their darn parties!
We were up and ready to leave at 7am approx. Took a photo of me and my brother all in mclareny gear, although we tried to look like mclaren supporters, it was not bad!
We travelled by car, which was the BEST alternative, we would have got so fed up by coach or train or bus, it was sooooooooo hot too! Being stupid like i am, i didnt think it would be so hot so i wore a cardigan thing. We managed to get there on time as we planned at 9am, there wasnt much traffic all the way until we got to the track visitors queues! But it wasnt so bad, it actually got us more anxious as we saw signs saying race officials only and stuff lol.
Right, we got parking fine, we just parked where we found a spot, we didnt think about going to other car parks closer to were we should sit because we didnt even know where we would sit! So we rushed and rushed ahead of everyone, got our tickets through with no problem (hehehe) and then we made our way to find some places where we could get great viewing from.
There were so many people around, it was so good to be amongst F1 fans, i really felt happy. My brother was so excited he COULD contain it, thats whats funny, he actually kept quiet the whole time lol.
We entered the track from around Luffield, but we wanted to sit at maggots or becketts because thats were the cars are going full blast lol. And we did! We managed to get right upfront next to the gates between maggots and becketts
we did go up and down trying to decide which was the best view, also for photo’s and stuff, so we liked where we were and didnt bother going around the whole track to find places because 1, it was tiring and 2, more and more people were coming and taking places.

So he went, while i kept our places secure. While he went, there was other racing going on like Porsche cars and GP2 i think, that was good too! Oh and that guy who betted against Mclaren last year ran around the track half naked, im glad Zee didnt see it lol. That was a laugh though!
He went away for over an hour. Lol I got worried hoping he wasnt stuck anywhere or even if he was lost, but he is a big boy i kept telling myself, he will come back. Plus, there was this indian couple sitting next to us and he offered me his phone to call Zeeshan, so i was very thankful, although my brother didnt even answer the call lol.
About 15 minutes after, Zee came back and i was relieved! He bought chips and said it was the queues that took so long, but he didnt get any seats, i didnt mind anyways, i was too excited.
So we used magazines n stuff to sit on, it was okay. The sun was rising higher and higher and it got hotter and hotter! 
We had an umbrella though and i wore my Mclaren cap.

Then, we saw the drivers parade, and i literally went nuts with my horn lol. I saw Kimi and the rest of the drivers. Kimi was on the front edge, sadly i didnt catch his eye, but hey i saw him! Less than 15 metres away…okay okay it was about 20 metres away lol felt really close though because it was all real! In person! We were at Silverstone! Woooo!!!!

Woooo!!!!Okay, so then the F1 cars came out onto the grid, getting ready for some cool racing. We got even more excited! Then the parade lap started, the cars went around, got some photo’s, decent ones. It was the out lap and they still were going fast! It was amazing and the sound was incredible, but we didnt hear half of it yet!
Then GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!! We saw them fly past, it was AMAZING! The sound was so LOUD i felt my chest vibrating! And people considered i should take ear plugs?!!? No way!!!!!! Its the best sound ever!!!!!!!! i wanted more!
My brother loved it, he was suprised at the sound and the speed, i kept honking my horn and screaming lol. Although the crowd we were in were rather quiet, suprisingly. I was the ONLY one who blew my horn and kept cheering, so that was a disappointment actually, the crowd was dull from where we were, i kept hesitating when i shouldnt have had to.
We were confused half the time lol with the race. The giant TV screen was near us but it was at an angle so we couldnt see much, but we could hear a little of what it was saying, we used our binoculars to watch the TV, but because the car noise was so LOUD, the TV sound was overwhelmed, so i thought the TV should be a little louder.
Nonetheless, it was a GREAT first Grand Prix for us, it was excellent! And guess who won? Mclaren!!!!!!! not Kimi but Juan, but i was just as happy, i couldnt stop cheering infront of everyone and my brother kept laughing at me, and i didnt care, i was so happy!
Kimi did a great job getting 3rd from 12th place, so i was very happy for that too! Seeing both mclaren drivers on the podium was so good for us. Its like we gave them good luck for coming there! Lol. We saw a huge group of Juan Pablo Montoya fans dancing and cheering "MON-TOY-YA! MON-TOY-YA!" hehe so we took a photo of that. The stupid camera got on my nerves, it wouldnt take piccies when i wanted them too for the cars going past but we still got some good shots.
We watched the podium bit on the big TV, we went closer. We decided to leave as soon as possible because it was gonna be mad with traffic. So we didnt get to wander around much, we were already tired lol. Zee went to look at a few shops, see if he could buy me anything, but he didnt, he said most clothes had crap quality lol that was his excuse! Lol no, he did have money he just didnt want to waste it. I didnt mind. Plus things will be cheaper online.
It was very hot when we left. On the way out of the car park, there were these marshall guys around isnt it, so when we drove past one, i had eye contact with one guy so since i got his eye i shouted "KIMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" at him lol, and he just went "yeaaahhhhhh!!!!" lol.
We got home in one hour from Silverstone, but we got stuck before in leaving queues and shit lol. You can check out the photo’s in my album here, i wish i could put video’s on here too!

Good story. I think this is the longest story in english ive ever read(after quitting school lol).You didnt use any earplugs!?!?!?!?! You have to be deaf now lol. HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you hear that?? lolIm also always confused if im at a track. You know who is leading but after number 3 you dont really know who is on 4th and so.Good to hear that you had great fun.Gonna look at the pics now.

Lol well we wanted to watch the race…my brother said dont worry about it. I know i wish we got more, but we will next time, lesson learned lol
