Report – Fernando Alonso was fifth and Kimi Raikkonen was ninth come the end of the final free practice session for the United States Grand Prix. Track temperature was quite low as the Scuderia Ferrari drivers tried both tyre compounds, doing qualifying simulations in the final minutes of the session on the Softs. Fernando did 13 laps, the fastest in 1.38.727, while Kimi did 17, with a best of 1.39.143.
