On Tuesday Kimi Räikkönen was seen in Finland’s ice-hockey team’s training camp in Switzerland Rapperswil. Räikkönen who lives nearby had cruised to the ice stadium with his own car in his own free time.
Räikkönen visited the locker room before the practice and went after that to the audience to follow the practice together with team leader Timo Jutilan and Janne Niinimaa.
MTV3 asked Räikkönen, who was in a very good mood and laughing, for a comment but he refused politely this time.
Räikkönen is known as a huge fan of ice-hockey. He has often been seen in different ice-hockey events.
“We follow how Kimi is doing and he follows us,” head coach Jukka Jalonen told about the Finnish team’s and Räikkönen’s relationship.

The Swiss ice hockey national team won the World Cup friendly against Finland by 3-0. Looking on in the stands was Formula 1 star Kimi Raikkonen.
Kimi Raikkonen (32), in the VIP box in Rapperswil, could hardly believe his eyes. The Finns lost their World Cup friendly match against Switzerland 0:3. Romy, Liniger and Brunner achieved the goals.
Currently living in Baar, Swizterland, the comeback star of Formula 1 is a big hockey fan. He is always at EV train or to meet the Lakers in Rapperswil. In the ZSC Lions, he once trained as a guest of Ari Sulander.
Raikkonen’s favorite ice-hockey team is the way Lotus Espoo Blues, the club of his hometown in Finland.
