Belgium Friday quotes: Bridgestone
Ferrari Team Quotes – Kimi Raikkonen: “I am pleased with the work we have
done today and the overall feeling is a positive one. The car seems to
be quick, even though we know it’s only Friday and therefore we cannot
be entirely sure where we are compared to the others. We had a few
technical problems, although they didn’t have a significant effect on
the way we got through our planned programme for the day.” (Listen to Kimi’s comments here)
Chris Dyer: “The changing weather conditions, typical
of this Grand Prix, meant we were able to test for a long time in the
rain and I have to say that both drivers reckoned they were pleased
with the performance of their cars in the wet and were competitive
compared to the others. In the afternoon, we had a few niggles with
both cars (a failure in the hydraulic system meant Kimi couldn’t get
back to the pits at the end of the second session) which did not really
affect our programme. Kimi proved to be very quick: now we will analyse
the data to decide in which direction we should go with the car in
order to improve still further the performance of his F60. Luca
continued to gain experience with the car and we hope he can also
improve his performance bit by bit, as he gets more mileage under his
belt.”

Great job Kimi 😀 he had very good pace specially in the 2nd practice session but as usual there’s always something that’s supposed to ruin our happiness, i’ve honestly had enough with these failures but at least it didn’t happen in the quali. it would have been a disaster after such a good weekend so far…Luca Badoer performance seems to go from bad to worse obviously his dream of driving 4 Ferrari has turned into a nightmare, personally i couldn’t help but laugh specially in the 1st session it was almost impossible for him to keep his car on trackCan’t wait 4 tomorrow’s qualifying session where Kimi will show everyone why he is the King of Spa but it will a tough and close one mostly with the Mclarens and Toyotas… Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!! Well done Kimi – hope the car doesn’t cop out tomorrow or Sunday though!!

Don’t worry Kiki, the hydraulic problem was caused by some oil leakage from Jaime’s car (he had an engine failure) Because both Lewis and Kimi went off at that same corner, where Jaime had his problem, at the same time.Badoer did improve slightly in this second session btw :PI’m so excited for the race more than anything, because qualifying will probably be hard again like last year but Kimi can try and qualify in the top 6 like he did in Valencia.

Darn, I do wish they’d show Fri practice in Sg! It all sounds terribly exciting! Poor Badoer, he’s really out of his depth.

hi to everyone, i think if Kimi manages to be in the top 5 in quali, he can challenge 4 the victory because his pace was amazing during practice 2 and he was the most impressive on the long runs. so hopefully Kimi solve the ‘quali problem’ of his car so that we are able to hear the Finnish anthem on sunday. "King of Spa", well said Kiki. lol

I was just checking Ferrari’s official site and actually came upon an amazing discovery:The people at Ferrari seem to have gained a lot of sense of humor this weekend 😉 first there’s the "Waiting list" article which was really funny but the thing that made me laugh the most was what they said about Luca Badoer in "Belgian GP – Free practice session" article: "On the one hand, there was Kimi Raikkonen setting the third fastest time of the day, on the other, Luca Badoer was again at the tail end of the field"…i’m sorry is it me or there’s something wrong with that, it’s ok if we or the media said that but for them to say it about their driver that’s nasty even if it is true they should have used another expression one that’s nicer but maybe they’ve just been too embarrassed by him already so that they find no need to (hahaha :P)…still it seems something that Ferrari are quite enjoying lately; backstabing their drivers that is Kimi should know better :(Ferrari u suck 😛 ……….Keep Flying Kimiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All!Kimi drove well today. I think qualifying is not so important in Spa, because there is actually a possibility to overtake in this track. There is a rumour in finnish media, that Kimi will cut his hair if he wins 🙂 That hair is anyway unnecessary weight.

Woo, go Kimi! Usually, Kimi is always quite far down the list in the free practice sessions, so hopefully being as he improves for the quali in the other grand prix this year- he will be able to get on the front row!Kimi, you are the best at this track- Good luck for tomorroww!!Keep Flying Kimi!
