Ferrari Team Quotes: Kimi Raikkonen – 18th: "Even if we don’t know what
fuel loads the other teams had, it’s clear that we are not as quick as
we would like, but we have to try and make the best of this situation.
Anyway, we knew that the picture for this race would be no different to
what we’ve seen in previous ones. Today we opted to run in two
different configurations and did a lot of work on finding the best
set-up for the car. We collected a lot of data which we will now
analyse, to be as well prepared as possible for the race. We can expect
a difficult weekend, but we were never in any doubt about that."

https://i0.wp.com/img27.imageshack.us/img27/5543/evenstarsays.png Oh well that session was not much better, but without the KERS on Kimi’s car what can we expect! But it’s the race that counts so let’s just be quiet and watch aye. By the way, there are a couple of clips, one of Kimi’s spin in the first session.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen was lucky to complete the session in tenth. The Finn was one of several drivers to have a moment, but his involved a lurid slide that saw him just miss the barriers at Turn 2 right at the start of practice…

Ferrari – Nothing new under the sun: The two Ferraristi drove the eighth and tenth fastest lap times, with
Felipe Massa (1.34.589) and Kimi Raikkonen (1.34.827) respectively. They
both were not really satisfied with the car’s set up. Drivers and
engineers will have to do some more work over the next hours to improve
the F60’s performance. Only Felipe’s car is fitted with the KERS: in
the evening the Team will decide how to proceed over the rest of the
weekend as far as the kinetic energy recovery system is concerned. The
two Ferraristi did the same work in the morning, with slightly
different approaches: the track, which is still pretty dirty, enabled
Felipe to go out for two runs, with the first one slightly longer,
while Kimi drove the usual three. Both drivers used just one set of
tyres, the harder compound of the two types Bridgestone brought to
Bahrain.

https://i0.wp.com/img27.imageshack.us/img27/5543/evenstarsays.png I didn’t watch practice today so I’m not sure how close Kimi missed the barrier! His fastest laptime is okay, absolutely identical to Mark Webber in the Red Bull – funny that! Let’s wait and see how things turn out later today in the second session.
