This is an exclusive interview with Kimi, conducted by Finnish journalist Heikki Kulta, in the new September issue of F1Racing. The interview is pretty recent and there are some very interesting comments that everyone should know from the misunderstood Champ, but the photography isn’t new unfortunately! You may have seen some of these stylish shots of Kimi in his Switzerland home from last year in March when Italian magazine ‘Style’ (with Corriere della Sera) chatted with Kimi as he posed in Italian designer wear. But the Iceman still manages to melt some hearts in these sexy photos so we can’t complain too much if F1Racing continues to be lazy as ever when covering on the world champion. I scanned in the whole feature with Kimi and also a two page preview by Adrian Sutil of the new street-track for the European Grand Prix at Valencia which follows this weekend. Enjoy!

Just finished reading the article, and it´s brilliant. Journalists are always surprised at how Kimi truly is, when they interview him they´re probably expecting a tough time, trying to get a few words out of him, but noooo, that´s not our Kimi, that´s Kimi on race day mode, completely focused."I am the way I want to be" , that pretty much says it all, he´s open to those he wants to be, and just enjoys life without paying attention to things that don´t matter.My favourite parts:- "I´m not remotely interested in Lewis-mania, if it exists, ask HIM how it feels" – see, no bull*** (take notes Lewis!)- He loves Ferrari becasue they never asked him to change, he feels at home with them, unlike McLaren – "I live the way I live, I am as I am, and the team is happy with it" – why try to change somebody? if you´re signing a contract with them it´s because you accept them the way they are (this one is for Ron).- "I never give up; anything can happen in F1" – so true, look were it got him last year, as long as there´s a chance(for all of you idiots who say he´s giving up and not fighting anymore!!!).- Loved the end of the article – "What is a surprise is hearing the real Kimi come through…the hugely gifted Finn who quietly became a Ferrari legend"I think I´ve never read such a heartfelt article about Kimi, really enjoyed it. There´s nothing new really, I mean it in the sense that most people don´t know his true self, apart from us here, so that´s why the interview may come as a surprise, to those who think he´s robotic outside the track.

Lol! love what you said about that being for Ron. It’s true.This interview was by Heikki Kulta, fellow countryman but he’s a top F1 journalist and he’s the one who wrote/published that book of Kimi’s season in 2007, probably the first book ever about Kimi. So no wonder this article was much heartfelt 🙂
