Ferrari to up the ante at Silverstone test

Kimi Raikkonen worked mainly on developing new aerodynamic and
mechanical solutions and on finding the best set-up on the car for this
track. The Finnish driver covered a total of 62 laps, the quickest in a
time of 1:21.548.

Kimi told Turun Sanomat that this package should suit his driving style better than ever before.

The Scuderia continues testing tomorrow: on track will be Felipe Massa.

"We have a completely different aerodynamic package to try at
Silverstone," Ferrari’s head of track operations Luca Baldisserri, was
quoted as saying by f1racing.net.


"So hopefully we can have another step aerodynamically. We hope that
the weather will be with us to At the moment we have quite a lot of
rainfall forecast.


On adding more acceleration, Baldisserri, continued: "That could be a
solution, an easy solution. If we can find, with the set-up, the two or
three tenths that at the moment we are missing, they will be welcome
and it would be a straightforward solution.


"Unfortunately I don’t think they are all there. We have to understand,
investigate all the areas: aerodynamically, mechanically but on the
engine as well."
