Questions on Kimi’s Barcelona Test

I’m not too sure on how accurate these quotes are, they are from the Autosport forum but here you go…

– Some random questions with Kimi:

Question: The Italian fans watch and like to pick a favourite between you and your teammate…

Kimi Raikkonen: ”My job is not to make them happy, it’s to win with
Ferrari. If I do that they will be happy, otherwise they’ll criticize
me. It all depends on me.”

Q: Do you like testing ?

KR: ”I like to drive, in any way. If there’s one thing that I don’t like, it’s needing to get up early in the morning.”

Q: With the previous car (248 F1) you didn’t really felt comfortable.

KR: ”This car is more designed for my driving style. You’ll see.

Q: We’ll see what ?

KR: ”We have discovered many things that we didn’t know.”

Q: Could you mention one ?

KR: ”No (he’s not willing to say – AFCA), but right now I feel I can use the full potential of the car.”

Q: Strong and weak points of the F2007 ?

KR: ”It’s a great car. Every car has weak points but in this case I haven’t found any.”

Regarding the car: Apart from the diffuser, Ferrari has a new floor too and confirmation:
all four suspensions have been modified (that makes it complete,
eveything from the outside apart from the nose has been changed).

The introduction of Ferrari’s new sidepods even demanded a new FIA sidecrashtest.

With the modifications the aerodynamicists were able to ‘calm down’ the
air between the frontwing and the floor and to make the floor more
efficient.

Colajanni on the question whether this is an answer to McLaren: ”This update was already planned before the season.”

Video includes Kimi coming into the pits after he spun off track:

In other news, Kimi Raikkonen Spaces has reached 40,000 views! That’s not a lot, but considering as it only really properly began in January 2007 , it’s not bad!

Thank
you so much to everyone who enjoys visiting here, and for leaving the
kind comments in the guestbook. I hope I’ll be able to continue
expanding the KRS for as long as I can.
