Free Practice 3 – Rosberg Quickest
Full practice report can be read here

…Prior to Rosberg’s return, Kimi Raikkonen had been quickest for
Ferrari, although the former champion spun at Turn 3 immediately after
setting his benchmark time.

Nine minutes after losing the top spot to Rosberg, Raikkonen
reclaimed it by 0.047s, although within moments the Ferrari had been
beaten by Trulli’s Toyota, as the Italian became the first to set a
time on super soft tyres and moved 0.6s clear of the field…

Ferrari: Removing KERS has not helped

Ferrari Team Quotes: Kimi Raikkonen – 14th: The balance of the car isn’t
bad and one doesn’t feel the lack of KERS. The point is that we are too
slow compared to the teams currently at the top of the order. We must
try and improve the car: at the moment, we are not able to fight for
the title. We must not give up the fight because, with the whole team
working hard, we can get back into a winning position. It’s not an easy
time, but our group is strong and we know what needs to be done to get
out of this situation. The softer tyre seems to work better than it did
in Australia.

Doesn’t look like things will be much better for Ferrari this weekend. Oh dear.Anyway, I’ve noticed the ‘red cross’ / blank image problem has returned today on the site so I’m very sorry if you can’t see any pics.I think it’s because I used the embedding feature in the blog post, to embed a video and the photo album. Because before I did, everything was fine. And I remember this viewing/downloading problem all started when I first tried embedding videos and pics during that first GP weekend at Australia. I’ve contacted Windows Live and have told them this is definately the cause. Hopefully they can do something by tomorrow. I’m very sorry!

Yes Saima, it is not improving at all. If we as fans are dissapointed, I cannot imagine how Kimi felt after the two practices.

Kimi is a strong driver, though. I’m not worried about him much. Sure, it’s not a great feeling, to be behind and slow. But he’s gone through it before, like in 2004 lol, and he knows how to cope. Like he said, we can’t think about the WDC right now. But he can think about just giving the maximum of the F60, with or without the KERS. And like in Australia and Malaysia, looking at their laptimes I mean, he’s doing a better job than Massa.

I just hope those guys back at the factory are working their little butts off getting something done about correcting all of this. It must be so frustrating to be stuck in the middle of the pack all of a sudden.Katarina, it is not just you, I can’t access the forum either, just comes up with connection problems pages instead.

Well, the majority of Ferrari fans are actually blaming Ferrari’s poor performance on their drivers. Kimi and Felipe aren’t good enough for the team, apparently. They aren’t leading the team, the mechanics, in order to improve the car. Total bullshit of course lol How experienced are Ferrari again? don’t tell me they’re waiting for some driver to lead them. If they are, then they need a driver to kick their butts and say "WAKE UP! SCHUMACHER ISN’T HERE ANYMORE!"I don’t know why the forum isn’t working now, argh! why is everything going wrong nowadays!? it’s making me so angry. I dunno, maybe try again later….

so no comment from you Saima… i imagine like most of all, you don’t know what to tell about all that… what a shame for such a team! i know they were less prepared than others but all the same! the situation is a bit ridiculous for them … i trust in Kimi, i know he will give his best with what he’s got…Fortunately, i don’t read the press around neither go to other forums coz i miss time so i don’t see the stupid comments!! pics don’t work either but the forum is ok!i go there now to read all the positive comments from our KRS buddies!! 😉 with what they can have found positive! lol!Keep smiling!!
