Practice 2
Raikkonen’s 1:20.639 put him 0.650 seconds clear of his teammate, and although Massa twice improved his time on subsequent runs, he remained half a second adrift.
A faster and much more competitive time from Kimi in the second practice session. Can he keep it up for qualifying tomorrow? We think he can!

Kimi Raikkonen – 1st: "It was a good day. We worked in a different way to usual, covering a high mileage. I would say we have a good base from which we can improve the car for qualifying and the race. We have to do well and we will give it our all. Track conditions were a bit difficult because of the wind, while it seems that, compared to the test two weeks ago, the track surface is a bit slipperier.
"The tyres seem very similar in terms of performance, give that we I have done almost the same lap time on the hards and the softs. As usual on Friday, there are so many unknowns in terms of the order among the teams. We must wait and see how the weekend develops."

The competition between the McLarens and Ferraris looks really, really good. Can’t wait! I love a good battle, especially when it’s Kimi on the chase ala 2003 and 2005 style, but hopefully it’s not too late this time.
