Problem-free first day for Kimi

On
Tuesday Kimi Raikkonen had his first outing in a Ferrari Formula One
car. At the Italian track ‘Piero Taruffi’ in Vallelunga, near Rome, The
Finn covered 39 laps in Ferrari’s 2006 car – the 248 F1.
As
Raikkonen completed his first laps for Ferrari his team-mate Felipe
Massa began his week of testing in Ferrari’s new car: the F2007.
The
day’s technical programme comprised of Raikkonen getting to know the
car, while Felipe concentrated on development of the new car. Felipe
Massa completed 74 laps with a best time of 1.14.493 while Raikkonen
completed 39 and set a fastest time of 1.15.226.
