A hat trick of wins went out the window already before, Kimi has a better chance this time for 3 consecutive wins. He is nicely set, agressive, hungry, super fast and will do his very best for this title.
Its at times like this, we must appreciate a champion in the making. We witness their very best performances during close battles.
Let the Italian Grand Prix Weekend begin!
Go Mclaren babeh!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday Qualifying Drama
So it began with an engine penatly for Kimi. Always too good to be perfect I suppose, that where I hail Ferrari for allowing their drivers take pride and not bitterness in their achievements.
Moving on, the Mclarens still had the raw mechanical grip the other teams are struggling with. The devil horns have gone, due to low downforce for this fast track and they still kept infront of the grid. Kimi gained P1 nicely but forced to drop 10 places down the grid, keeping 11th. Juan Pablo did a very good lap too, it was very enjoyable watching him drive, done it beautifully.
I have to say Michael Schumacher’s lap was great too. After all the troubles he has had this weekend, he managed to get everything he could out of his Ferrari and put it into a nice lap (gotta think of the fans eh?)
The Renaults didnt have a very good time either like Mclaren. Fisichella went all wrong on the first turn into the chicane, then it got more messy and he basically pissed Briatore off. Alonso pleased his boss however, putting in a clean and fast lap, sitting second behind Juan Pablo. Its just enough for Renault, what else can they do?
This engine problem Kimi has had to deal with brings back anger and frustration again. Same old questions, why now, why Kimi, why dammit why
But then I smile
seeing Kimi still keeping himself together, being the fastest man out there, driving beautifully and cleanly, it is enough consolation for me. Aslong as he knows what he’s doing, im proud of him.
I wish the team the very best of luck for tomorrow and hoping to see a Mclaren win. As Ron Dennis said its definatly possible. He looked very happy seeing Kimi get pole, he doesnt usually look that happy, even when there is a penalty. He isnt a proud man, to go on boasting about the possibilities. Wiser birds go around the corner, whispering to achieve the same effect.
Keep Flying Kimi
Go Mclaren!!!
Sunday Race Day
I cant be bothered unfortunatly. Exciting race, Juan won, good for the Team but NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
